Dude, remember Hanson? I loved Hanson. I have to say that Taylor was my favorite, but I was never allowed to like Taylor because Cory Rossattii liked Taylor, and Kelly liked Issac, so I had to like Zach, which compared to his studley brothers, wasnt much of a man. Look at them now though! They are still hotties! And their music is still good, I dont care what anybody says. Here is a little taste of some classic Hanson song:

Audra's Birthday

To celebrate Audra's 20th birthday we went to the Cheesecake Factory with some good friends. It was soo much fun! We also had a surprise party awaiting her when we returned to school, which was a hit! She had no clue and was totally flattered and utterly surprised by the whole thing. She has been such a blessing in my life and I'm so happy that her birthday was a special one!

P. Diddy's

We went to P. Diddy's on Thursday night! This is an ice cream place in Westwood that gives you ice cream sandwhiched between your choice of two cookies for only a dollar! It was soooo good!

My Fall 2005 semester highlights!

I thought that before I go back for the Spring semester I should write about some of my highlights from this previous semester. So here they are, in no particular order:
- Outreach Week- Team Corona!! I had the best team ever, and I'm sooo glad I got to meet and get to know these people. They are all amazing human beings. The chance to serve in a church which I have been attending for my whole life was cool too.
- Night of drunkeness.....only some of you know what this is.......but all were effected.....and changed forever.....hahaha
- Dixon Flag Football Champions!!!!!! It felt sooooo good to win, I'm not gonna lie. My dorm apparently never wins anything, particulary anything sports inclined......so it was great to blow everyone out of the water!
- Surviving Christmas Concerts- I can't believe I did that
- Selling candy canes to decorate the student center........notice how I say selling the candy canes to decorate the student center was a highlight........actually decorating the student center is whole another issue
- Bucca de Beppo in Santa Monica .........I'd choose it anyday over Fall Thing
- Getting a B in Mackey's Economics class.........Thank you Jesus!!!
- Thanksgiving break with the multitudes that came to my house.............and oh so many funny things that happened that weekend! "I wanna suck your toe thumb"
- Overall how much I've grown since my parents dropped me off for WOW week......I dont even feel like the same person.
- Driving on the 5 freeway for an hour thinking we were going to Fraiser Park for dorm day away and realizing we were 5 min from Disneyland
- Dressing up for the Harry Potter midnight premiere.....I was Harry. And then driving to Ventura and sitting on the beach watching the sun come up.
- Anything to do with my beloved Mega Phone was also amazing.......hmmmm......I liked when we went into Sweazy screaming "Dixon Rules........stop copying us" and got kicked out. Yeah that was pretty funny.
- Got a parking ticket.........not really a highlight
- My very first Dodger game!!!
- Decorating Ben's nalgene bottle with Dixon pictures and getting kicked out of Leslie's apartment because we wanted to pose with aprons and an oven.
- Going to Prof J's house......he cracks me up!

Show me the money!!!!

I just found ten dollars in my school bag as I was packing to go back to school tomorrow! I love when that happens! I salute you Mr. Lincoln, and thank you for appearing twice in my backpack!

Is he too proud.....or too prejudice?

I went to see Pride and Prejudice today, and absolutely loved it! Not only is it terribly romantic, but Jane Austen's twisted plot of love, hate, pride and prejudice keeps you interested throughout the movie. I'm hooked....and now want to find the time to read the book, but with classes starting soon probably will not. I have to admit I'm a sucker for a good romantic movie. Among my favorites are Sleepless in Seattle, The Notebook, and My Best Friends Wedding. But this movie was entirely differant, somewhat more sincere.

My Life is Brilliant

I'm at the point in my college career where I have begun to think about the big picture. I'm a second semester sophomore, which means after this spring I only have two years left and then its out into the real world, that scary place that every teacher has been "prepping" us for since grade school. But what do I really want in life? A family? A career? To travel? To write? To paint? I don't really know, but I know that I want my life to be brilliant. I want everything I do to be unique, and special. I don't ever want to say that I'm working just to pay the bills. I want to be passionate about what i do, whatever that may be. Above all I pray that people will see my motive behind doing anything is to glorify my Savior, not myself.

- I love The Master's College
- I love my Lord and Savior, even though my actions dont show it
- I love the idea of devoting my life to helping people, maybe not entirely for Christ, but just because there is so much suffering in the world
- I hate when guys think they need to take care of you
- I love that I am strong and independant
- I hate that I can be so passionaite about art, and music, and love, and compassion, and peace, but can find it so easy to ignore my Savior
- I love chips and salsa
- I hate the stickers that come on fruit....I mean really, what is their purpose?
- I hate judgemental people
- I hate people who think they are better than everyone else
- I love my dorm
- I love doing things that no one expects me to do
- I love my home church
- I hate emo myspace pictures, when people act like they wernt ready for the picture to be taken when really they had been looking in the mirror for like 30 min before hand
