"Country roads, take me home......"
I'm home! Finally! I spent the last two weeks traveling with friends, and while I had sooo much fun, it is very sweet to be home.
My trip to Sacramento was really fun. The highlight was going to San Francisco. We took the ferry in from Vallejo and spent two days there. We really had no idea what we were doing, but that was half the fun. We just looked at a map, got on a cable car and went wherever! We stayed the night in the smallest hotel room I have ever seen in my life! There were six of us in a room a little smaller than my dorm room, with one full size bed.
West Virginia was great too! I got to spend time with and get to know Rachel's family. They are all really great. Her 17 year old brother Joshua told everyone I was his girlfriend. Her 14 year old sister Carrie is soooooo much fun, and her parents are just so sweet! It was nice to see where she lives and to spend time her home. We went to Washington DC one day, and into Ohio for a Reds game ( I now know where Ohio is) Got to see some pretty legit white trash/hicks/red necks, whatever you want to call them!
I leave on Friday to work at a camp up in Santa Cruz all summer. I will (Lord willing) get to use the internet at least once a week, most likely on Saturdays or Sundays. I'll try my best to update my blog and put up some pictures to let everyone know who I'm up to. I'd love to get e-mails from anyone (kikerc@masters.edu) and of course your prayers are always a blessing!

I can't say how happy I am that your geographical knowledge has now passed the milestone of knowing where Ohio is.
